What you'll
race
800 m runs followed by each of the stations, in race order — the whole thing, at half the volume. No burpees onto a plate. No stationary lunges. The movements are the race movements.
- Up to 4 athletes per heat, running as two groups of two, five minutes apart. Two lanes go at once for burpee broad jumps, walking lunges and the sled push and pull — you're racing side by side, not taking turns.
- Racing as a team of 2? Both athletes need to book the same heat, so you go together.
- All indoors: the entire race runs inside, except the running and the final farmers carries.
- Practise your pacing — the single most valuable thing you can do for race day. Learn what your runs should feel like coming off a sled, and how much you've got left for the back half, before it counts.
- Run by people who know the race: our coaching team races HYROX, and one of our coaches works as a HYROX head judge — so the standards and the format are the real ones.
- Your reservation time is your heat START time — not the time to walk in the door. Get here about 20 minutes early and run your own event warmup, so you're ready to race when your heat is called. That's exactly how race day runs.
- Best for: anyone with a race booked, anyone thinking about booking one, and anyone who wants a real benchmark to train against.
- Free for members — included with any group class membership. Reserve your heat like any other class.
- $30 drop-in for non-members, or grab a punch card and use it here.
- See drop-in & punch cards for current rates.
- The goal is monthly — every date we have on the books is in upcoming heats above.
- Want your own? We run private group half sims on weekend afternoons — get in touch and we'll set one up for your crew.
- The time on your ZenPlanner reservation is your heat start time — that's when you race, not when you arrive.
- Get here about 20 minutes early and run your own event warmup. You want to be ready to race when your heat is called, not walking in the door.
- Warming yourself up is part of race day, so treat this as practice for it.
- Racing as a team of two? Book the same heat as your partner.
- Bring water, a towel and the shoes you plan to race in.
